Alex Rudeau - French Enduro Champion 2021

A superb performance by the COMMENCAL Enduro Team rider for a gold medal! Alex Rudeau won the French Enduro Championships this weekend in Thollon-les-Mémises and becomes the new 2021 French Champion.

"I can't believe it! I was in front immediately after the 1st stage and I managed to stay ahead in the race until the end of Day 2. To be in leading ahead of all the French riders is something I have dreamed of and you can't imagine how happy I am tonight!”
Alex Rudeau, French Enduro Champion 2021.

Cécile and Cédric Ravanel, Alex's coaches and team managers, are super proud of their rider who has recently been forced to rest for the last 3 weeks after a wrist injury and it’s a great come back to win over his French compatriots who are amongst some of the best in the world.

Jack Piercy also took part in the race which counted towards the overall standings in the French Cup. He finished in 3rd place with an excellent performance, but no medal for him because of his British nationality… Note that he has been selected to ride for his country at the Downhill World Championships next weekend in Val Di Sole in Italy. Antoine Vidal will also make his return to racing there and we will be following that closely.

Good luck to them!
