COMMENCAL MUC-OFF Clean Up - Amaury Pierron and Myriam Nicole until 2022

A few weeks before the start of the 2020 DH World Cup in Lousã (Portugal) 21st – 22nd March and it’s time for the Riding Addiction structure managed by the Ruffin Brothers to announce some news about the DH team for this season.

Firstly, Amaury Pierron and Myriam Nicole both extend until 2022!
The work done with them in recent seasons, on sports performance and with our bikes has been fruitful and we fully imagine more magnificent results in the coming years!

After winning the overall World Cup ranking in 2018
and winning 3 rounds in 2019,
Amaury has proven that he’s one of the best riders on the planet.

And maybe because he missed the overall title by a few points last season,
today he’s more motivated than ever!

Extending this relationship with him was therefore pretty logical!

As for Myriam, she has been riding COMMENCAL bikes since 2010!
Nobody can imagine her anywhere other than at home on our bikes.

With the World Championship title in 2019,
she continues to show that she is one of the top women riders coming into this new season!

She will want to prove that she can be counted on at World Cup races
after missing most of last season due to a serious foot injury.

The team is also happy to announce the signing of young Canadian Tristan Lemire!

Only 16-years-old, he’ll race this year in the Youth category,
before moving on to Juniors next season.

Vice Canadian Youth Champion and winner of several Open DH races
including a Crankworx Whistler race,
he surely has a great future ahead of him and he’ll certainly be surrounded by the best to progress!

"I have always enjoyed working long term with riders, mechanics, engineers. And more than ever DH is a technical and mechanical sport where the team work and every part of their mission has a major influence on the results. This is why I am really happy to continue the adventure with Pompon, Momo and all the Riding Addiction members and staff. We've all known each other for a long time, and the work between our engineers and the riders is perfectly established. We like to be in Andorra and move forward alongside them on anything that can improve performance. Then, we are like a family that has lived together and supported each other for a long time! It’s a great story that goes on. ” Max Commencal.

For this new season, the team signs with new sponsors, including MUC-OFF who become the co-title sponsor. The team is also delighted to be working once again with SRAM and RockShox, Enve and Schwalbe, wilst Fizik is added to the list for saddles. Finally, you’ll see the riders dressed in IXS, Bell and Oakley again this season!
