CRANKWORX Innsbruck - A Wonderful Weekend

What a weekend in Austria for our COMMENCAL riders! The second round of CRANKWORX 2019 ended this weekend with our guys competing Friday night Speed & Style and Slopestyle finals on the Sunday.

Only his second CRANKWORX appearance since Les Gets in 2017, Paul Couderc was very impressive in the Slopestyle final. After missing his first run because of difficult conditions (particularly the wind), the young rider displayed all his talent against the best in the world and came home with the 2nd place medal! 82.5 points in total means he finished 4th in the event and qualifies for the Whistler round!

Even if he is only 22 years old, Paul Couderc has been riding COMMENCAL bikes for many years. His perseverance and unparalleled mentality have always impressed us. We are very happy for him that all his work in recent years is paying off with great results! There's no doubt that he'll soon settle well in the elite world.

In Speed & Style, Kyle Strait once again demonstrated his power. The American reached the final where he eventually came 2nd after a good crash! Again, his style won over the public as with every event and we’re definitely always happy to see him out there competing.
