EWS 2019 - Second Round in Tasmania

In enduro there's no rest!

Just one week after the first round of the Enduro World Series in Rotorua (NZ), the COMMENCAL VALLNORD ENDURO Team and COMMENCAL SRAM ENDURO were already back for a second round.

This time it was off the south coast of Australia in Tasmania, where Cédric and Cécile RAVANEL were once again able to witness Antoine VIDAL's prowess.

The 18-year-old, who finished second last week, showed exactly what he’s capable of by finishing 15 seconds clear of second place. Awesome!

For his second race in elite category Theotim TRABAC finished 45th.

Unfortunately for him, some errors at the beginning of the race meant he lost precious time.

Our COMMENCAL SRAM ENDURO rider Yoann BARELLI was unlucky at this round.

After two punctures and a broken wheel on stages 2, 3 and 4, he finished 57th overall.

He managed to raise the bar towards the end of the race, finishing 15th and 11th respectively on the last two stages. A difficult weekend for him despite feeling good on the bike.

As I said earlier today, NEVER EVER GIVE UP GUYS !!! Today was a tough day for me, finishing the race with 2 flat tires and a broken wheel wasn’t the way I was expecting this race to happen, but when you are racing you have to accept things the way they come to you and only you can change the outcome of your day. I went with the flow of things, I kept smiling, got a good top 15 stage result on stage 5 at 6 second off the win and 11th in the last stage 4 second off the win with another flat tire and a broken wheel !! Tonight I’m pretty proud about myself for keeping on charging through this rough day and putting on some great stage results at the end of the day. It’s in these situations that the best of yourself shows up guys, and it’s in these situations that you get better in life. KEEP CHARGING, NO MATTER WHAT !!! The pace is here, I’m feeling good and confident on my bike, things will start clicking in soon đŸ€˜!! Thank you so much everyone today for your support, you were awesome, I freaking love racing my bike in front of you â€ïžđŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ‘. 📾 by @svenmartinphoto.
