INTRODUCING COMMENCAL 101

COMMENCAL 101 is a program born from the love of finding young and promising talent. This team aims to support and train the next generation of downhillers. Determining the fundamentals and acquiring the basics is the very definition of the American expression “101” (pronounced One-oh-One) and that is what we intend to do with this new structure.

In the first season, the structure brings together three young U15/juvenile racers:

Zoé Lugans - 13 years old, from Laurens, Hérault (France)

Quentin Barbe - 12 years old, from Saint-Joseph, La Reunion (France)

Sacha Brizin - 13 years old, from La Massana, La Massana (Andorra).

A full season is scheduled for our three talents starting with the French Downhill Cups. This breeding ground for champions, with these particularly demanding tracks, will constitute the bulk of their involvement. In addition, this summer we’ll find them at the UEC European Youth Mountain Bike Championships as well as at some rounds of the iXS Downhill Cup.

To support them in their progression, they will ride the SUPREME DH V5 XS, specifically designed and built for smaller riders. It is the ideal race machine to face the most demanding downhill tracks and to work on technical development.
