Women have and always will play an important part at COMMENCAL!

With the likes of Rachel Atherton in the past to Anne Caroline Chausson, Cécile Ravanel and Myriam Nicole as champions, that we are proud to call them part of the COMMENCAL family.
And in the office too, the girls are strong!

Knowing that in North America one rider out of two is a woman, it’s fair to say that there is still a little way to go in Europe.
Through these talented riders, real ambassadresses of our sport, we also hope to motivate more and more girls to give mountain biking a go!

Thanks to Cécile and Myriam, we participated in the Red Bull #MTBGIRLSCAMP at the beginning of the Roc d’Azur. This was a 100% female-focused event (except Cédric Ravanel, our chaperone and mechanics tutor) which took place in the beautiful setting of Cécile and Cédric’s place in the mountains above Fréjus.
Completely inspired by our champions (remember they’re both back from big injuries this year), no frills, we gave everything and got the bruises and scratches to match.
But we loved every minute!

A 100% Girls day and the opportunity to spend special moments with the DH World Champion on the training grounds of the COMMENCAL team in the Mediterranean pine forest.
