Not long before the start of the 2021 DH World Cup season (finger’s crossed), and it’s the turn of the COMMENCAL Muc-Off Team managed by Thibaut and Gaetan Ruffin to announce some big changes!
The first notable change is their kit and they are happy to announce that they will ride Dharco clothing! It’s a brand that shares the same values as them (and us) and that will be keen to offer fresh and original outfits specifically for World Cup racing.
“We’re cooking up some real fresh race kits, you guys better watch out! "
In addition to their outfits, COMMENCAL Muc-Off is also opening a new chapter in terms of suspension with the addition of FOX! So far so good after lots of initial testing and all riders are already fully satisfied with the performance of their new forks and shocks.
As for the team structure, Thibaut Daprela has extended his contract for two more years. After crushing the competition in the juniors, in 2020 he achieved one of the most wonderful first seasons in the elite category in history, with two podiums and a 5th place in the World Cup overall. Working with the likes of Thibaut, Amaury and Myriam pushes us to continue to strive year after year for magnificent results.
Canadian Tristan Lemire, who joined the team last season, will participate in his first World Cups as a junior. We can't wait to see him in action too!
Finally, the team is delighted to continue working with Enve (wheels and cockpits), Schwalbe (tyres), Bell (helmets), Fizik, Oakley, Chris King, Lizard Skins, HT, Lululemon, CN Spoke, Unior, E*Thirteen, Five Ten, Marshguard, Feedback, GoPro, RynoPower, Pro-Bolt, Forbike and Stendec Oils.
