World Cup #2 : Pierron and Daprela on the Top Steps

What happened on Sunday afternoon on the legendary Fort William track reminded us why we love our sport, racing and the atmosphere that these weekends create! It's been almost 20 years that the UCI have put Fort Bill on the World Cup calendar and Amaury Pierron has now won it for a second year in a row!

The penultimate rider down the hill, he had the (almost) perfect run. After holding our breath for 4:28.578 we saw him finish the race more than 3.5 seconds in front.

A little heart attack on the finish line jump! Had Momo seen the green light on the timing board? PHEW...

All these precious moments throughout the weekend allowed Amaury to get closer to the top of the overall standings. He goes back into second place. Sweet!

In Junior category, Thibaut Daprela made the double, his second victory in two races this season! It's a very good start for the flying young COMMENCAL VALLNORD rider who keeps the overall leader's jersey.

These great performances gave the COMMENCAL VALLNORD DH Team the Team of the Day trophy!

A great reward and especially a great memory shared by riders, mechanics, engineers, team managers and Max Commencal, the boss himself.

In difficult conditions, all results from our COMMENCAL riders are great to see (below).
