World Cup #4 Lenzerheide - Another Victory for Myriam Nicole

The COMMENCAL Muc-Off Team set Lenzerheide on fire!
After her victory last week at the World Championships, Myriam Nicole was competing in her first World Cup with her new rainbow jersey and her CustomSUPREME DH. She continues to impress with this new win and a crushing run where she was fastest from the first split. She is in the form of her life! She said, “Champagne! What a day! I was under a lot of pressure after last weekend and qualifying fastest. But that's also what motivates me the most!” With this latest result, she keeps the leader’s jersey and #1 plate.

Always consistent, Camille Balanche achieved a podium too by taking 5th place. Thanks to her fine performance, she keeps second place in the overall. Behind her, Monika Hrastnik and Mariana Salazar were 8th and 13th.

What a final for the men!
Two COMMENCAL Muc-Off riders were on the podium! Thibaut Daprela, with a more than solid run which was mostly on the limit, took a magnificent 3rd place. Like Pompon, he keeps first place in the overall!

Amaury Pierron made his return to the World Cup series after injury with the second fastest time in qualifying. On race day, he also climbed onto the podium with 4th! He said, “Wow, 4th! With only French people in front of me! So happy to be back and able to do what I love the most, race. It was a real mission to come back last week and another to be able to stand on the podium this weekend. Super proud!”
With this superb performance, he is already back to 10th place in the overall, having jumped 10 places over the weekend.

There were also excellent performances for Angel Suarez (13th), Benoit Coulanges (14th) and Greg Williamson (17th) who were all top 20, all less than 5 seconds from the podium. Times were tight this weekend!

Amongst the Juniors, Pau Menoyo confirmed his return to form after achieving the best time in qualifying. He eventually finished the race in 2nd! He’s one to watch in Snowshoe where he will be 100% fit. It was also a great race for Tristan Lemire who ended up in 6th.

Finally, thanks to their great results, the COMMENCAL Muc-Off Team is widening the gap at the top of the team overall!

See you at Snowshoe in the United States next week for the 5th (September 15th) and final rounds (18th September) of the season!
