World Cup #4 Lenzerheide - Qualifying

Third day in Switzerland and qualifying for our riders.
The track had dried out well after practice and is getting faster and faster! And this change in weather seems to please our riders. Qualifying times were excellent!

For her first outing in her World Champion's jersey, Myriam Nicole set the best time out of the women by 4.6 seconds! She is confident! The two teammates from the COMMENCAL Dorval AM team, Camille Balanche and Monika Hrastnik are also in good shape too with the 4th and 5th fastest times.

It was Amaury Pierron who made his comeback to the top placings by taking the second fastest time! After a difficult time with recovery last week in Val Di Sole, he's finally feeling better on his bike, “It's great. Frankly, I felt good but I didn't think I was so fit. I had to make sure because I am no longer protected by my ranking. I still think there’s a chance to save a little more time on some parts of the track tomorrow. But I am so happy to be back racing and when you're in front, it's even better!"

Thibaut Daprela set the 5th fastest time. He said, "I achieved a good time. I was in the rhythm without ever being too far from the best split times. I'm really happy and ready for tomorrow."
There were really good times for Angel Suarez (15th), Benoit Coulanges (17th) and Greg Williamson (18th) who are raring to go in the final.

Pau Menoyo showed he’s back on form by setting the best time in the Junior Men! We hope to see the same speed in the final. It was a good qualification for Tristan Lemire swell, with the 5th fastest time.

You can follow the progress of this fourth round of the season live on the COMMENCAL Instagram account. See you tomorrow for the finals!
