World Cup #6: Val Di Sole - Track Walk

Ten days after National Championships the World Cup is back this weekend in Italy. It’s a 2019 season that is tight and competitive and with his victory in Les Gets, Amaury Pierron is back in the running for the overall title! Currently 2nd (855 points), he is just 110 points off 1st.
His junior teammate Thibaut Daprela is likely to win the World Cup overall this weekend if he wins. Exceptional!
Thomas Estaque is in the shape of his life with his top 15 and top 10 in Vallnord and Les Gets. At 31st overall he can hopefully climb the table this weekend!
Finally, with her magnificent 3rd place in Les Gets, Mariana Salazar is hoping for good performances on Italian soil.

Riders made their first footprints on this Val Di Sole for the track walk on Wednesday. For Arthur Quet (COMMENCAL VALLNORD DH Teal Engineer) it was particularly interesting, "The track is very well prepared. There are some new things but no major changes. The riders are very happy."
Even if a few drops of rain fell during track walk, the weather looks sunny for the weekend.
