Yannis Pelé - Secrets of the Mercantour

Yannis Pelé, who’s been adventuring on his bike for the last two years, shares his new project with us;

"Secrets of the Mercantour is a trip through the most beautiful spots close to my house at the gates of the Mercantour National Park and which has some surprises in store for you. This is the first episode of my new series video One Life, Many Adventures. We only have one life, but a multitude of adventures to live, so let's enjoy every moment with passion! Living since I was 3 years old in the highest village in the Alpes Maritimes, this is where I started mountain biking. When I was competing in downhill mountain biking I trained on suitable trails and I never really had the opportunity to explore the beautiful single track and natural spots that surrounded me, even though I knew this land was full of exceptional places.

After my accident in 2016, I was able to rediscover my region in a new light and I wanted to bring together the key places and create "a perfect loop". Between the location, hiking to the spots, the hours of filming, the weather, as well as the ideas that appeared as we went along, we spent a lot of time and energy in the realization of this project.

We shot with Plans sur la Comète video and we found other people throughout film in some rather unusual places... We are quite happy with the result, and I am very happy to share all these pretty finds through this video! We hope you like this new project. I await your feedback!”
