This time we can say it for sure: Amaury Pierron is back! Exactly one year after his fractured neck Momo has returned to the top level, winning in Val di Sole, Italy. With a simply impressive run he relegated Dakotah Norton, (who had held up the hot seat for quite some time before the last man down) to second place by close to five seconds!
It was a huge performance from Amaury with a run that will be remembered for a long time but there was also a great performance from Dylan Maples, with his best ever result, a fantastic 8th place. The COMMENCAL MUC-OFF team are back on form, achieving Team of the Day to top it off!
Among the Elite Women, Monika Hrastnik (P3) and Myriam Nicole (P4) were both on the podium.
In the Juniors, another great performance from Max Alran who won for the second weekend consecutively with a solid time that would have put him amongst the Elite Men top 10! He confirmed his good form and continues to chase Asa Vermette for the lead in the overall competition.
Finally, we are thinking about Baptiste Pierron, who crashed heavily during qualifying, suffering multiple pelvic fractures.
