The Mountain Bike Madeira Meeting (MBMM) is an intense week where fifty riders have the opportunity to discover everything that Madeira has to offer in terms of riding, nature, good vibes and good food.
Alex Rudeau made the trip in 2023 to take a breather after an intense season, accompanied by a team of COMMENCAL staff and several journalists, where they took advantage of the extensive network of trails on this small Portuguese island in the Atlantic Ocean.
Throughout an epic week discovering different spots on this heavenly island, the team rode purely for fun and took advantage of the hospitality of the Clube Naval de Seixal, with after riding activities like surfing and unforgettable gastronomic experiences. This club, of which we are a partner, works to develop mountain biking on the island. Typically, the funds collected by the MBMM allowed for the creation of the first trail centre in the archipelago: the Porto Moniz Mountain Bike Center in the heart of the most beautiful spot on the island, listed as a UNESCO world heritage site!
