Ike Klaassen joins COMMENCAL South Africa for the 2021 season!
At just 17 years old, Ike has already shown heaps of maturity and technique on the bike for someone of such a young age.
Even if he does spend most of his time lapping DH tracks, the young South African is as comfortable riding enduro, freeride and dirt jump lines too.
Already winner of the South African DH National Championship (Youth), he achieved two podium finishes in 2020 at the French DH Cup (Cadet category) and in 2019 he took part in Crankworx DH events and an EWS. Some great results there already!
He will be training closely and following in the footsteps of Theo Erlangsen at World Cup DH races around the world.
We can’t wait to see more results!
