VERSATILE FURIOUS

Since the new FURIOUS came into our lives, we've searched for the best way to demonstrate its versatility. It's actually pretty simple because this bike goes wherever the rider wants it to go. It simply leaves us to enjoy the ride.

Together we imagined several scenarios and several types of terrain that allowed us to express ourselves, both Eliott behind the handlebars and myself behind the camera. This is where the idea of a night-intro came from. No nature or distractions, just the bike and the rider. So we focused on that and then the special night/day transition where we wanted an immersive and fast point of view, eventually creating surprise when the light appears.

As usual, the video was made in Les Vosges. The woods are a source of inspiration and a great place to ride a mountain bike. The intro is followed by a loamy Vosgian trail, typically very fun and fast. It's kind of speed and style (Eliott-style) with a bike park section plus the 2nd part in Eliott's back garden.

And what better way to round things up than with a bit of French freeride, framed by nature! This was one of the most complex and relatively dangerous parts of the project. In terms of filming, it was also hard to show the difficulty of the spot. A special mention for Eliott in the last sequence, where loose rocks had gradually piled up on the lower part of the descent, making the line even rowdier!

To make an edit with Eliott is always a pleasure even if this project was the heaviest, it was really cool.
