It was in the region of Paris, his home, that William Robert discovered his passion for mountain biking and perhaps surprisingly, specifically DH and freeride.

Those who dream of participating in Red Bull Rampage have to train every day and for William, that's in the forests surrounding the capital city.
He therefore wanted to pay tribute to his home spots with his equipment sponsor, ION.

He says,  "Where I’m from, there are no real mountain bike spots. You need to spend a lot of time in the woods and use your imagination and motivation to build your dream trails. It doesn’t really matter if I’m not surrounded by mountains or living close to a Bike Park, this addiction to biking is just growing inside me! "
